Cyberpsychosis
Cyberpsychosis is a rare but deadly set of mental disorders caused by too much Cyberware, often triggered by existing mental illness. Victims lose touch with reality and humanity, chrome up compulsively, then go on a killing spree.
Rolling for It
Thanks to the Singularity, Mainland bodies handle far more chrome, so it’s not guaranteed. You roll when installing Cyberware, based on your mental state:
| Your background | Roll | Cyberpsychosis on | When to roll |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal upbringing, no trauma | 1d10000 |
9900+ | Every 3 pieces installed |
| Traumatic upbringing | 1d10000 |
5000+ | Every piece installed |
Immunosuppressants
The body always attacks Cyberware as foreign. Immunosuppressants stop that to protect the implant.
They also pause Cyberpsychosis for 2 RPs. After 5 pauses, they stop working.
