Components
The raw materials, in five tiers from Common to Mythic. Mythic components each have their own unique way to get them.
The Crafting System lets you gather items and smash them together into new ones. The items you make can give your character extra capabilities, and crafting can make you a bit of money to push your story forward.
Collect components. You get them as rewards from events and quests, and sometimes you just find them. See Components.
Pick a recipe and check what it needs: its components, and the Intelligence level it asks for, if any. See Recipes.
Craft it. The components are used up, and the item is ready once its crafting time (real-life time) has passed.
Keep it. Using a crafted item doesn’t use it up. It’s yours until it’s destroyed.
Every recipe lists what you need besides its components.
| Requirement | Who can craft it |
|---|---|
| No Unique Requirements | Anyone |
| Gifted | Gifted Intelligence or higher |
| Genius | Genius Intelligence or higher |
| Super Genius | Super Genius Intelligence |
Your Intelligence level is set on your character sheet. See Intelligence Levels.

Crafted Components
Parts you craft from components and then use in bigger recipes, like the Residue Containment Unit that stores unstable energy.
Special Items
Some recipes also need items that can’t be crafted, like Velocity-X or Blast Shards. You get these from shops and special drops.
Custom Items
Want something that isn’t a recipe yet, like a suit or a weapon? Send an Equipment Submission and a Gamemaster will tell you exactly what it takes to craft it.
