Barrier Techniques

Barrier Techniques are a supreme art of Jujutsu. Even a simple one can turn a fight in your favor.

The catch: they take a lot of skill and have requirements to even use. That makes them a trump card alongside Maximum Techniques.

The hardest and longest part of the JJK System to master. Stick with it and you could become a legend in Singularity.

Curtains

Curtains (帳 Tobari) are a simple barrier usable by Curses, Curse Users and Sorcerers. Easy to learn.

  • Hides everything inside from non-sorcerers
  • Traps enemies inside
  • Goes pitch dark to lure out curses

Cast: chant + hand sign:

“Emerge from the darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure.”
Cost 10 CEP
Duration 10 turns or until broken

Commissioned Curtain

Bought on the Black Market. Engraved on a talisman: channel CE into it and say the chant.

  • Customizable, e.g. block a specific sorcerer, or all CE users
  • Lasts indefinitely until the talisman or barrier is destroyed
  • Cuts off phone signal: no contact from inside
